ADOBE ACADEMIC CLP ORDERING INFORMATION AND GUIDELINES

Orders can be made online with a credit card or by faxed/e-mailed purchase order and must be
accompanied by all end-user information including:

Ship-to address Contact name Contact's e-mail address Contact's phone number |
2. | Upgrade Plan/Maintenance: The Upgrade Plan allows the user to upgrade to new versions of the software covered as they are released, without the need to purchase new licensing. The Upgrade Plan must be purchased at the time of the original license purchase or at the beginning of a new CLP agreement term. All Upgrade Plans purchased will expire at the same time as the original 2-year agreement. Upgrade Plans purchased during the middle of the agreement period are pro-rated to expire at the same time as the 2-year agreement. The Upgrade Plan can then be renewed for another 2 full years. |
3. | Upgrades: Upgrade licenses are available on very few products. It is strongly recommended that you purchase the Upgrade Plan with your licensing to be able to upgrade to new versions without having to purchase new licensing. The Upgrade Plan is the most cost-effective way to keep your licensing up-to-date. |
4. | Cumulative Pricing: Lower pricing tiers can be achieved over the life of the agreement as those point totals are achieved. |
5. | Established Pricing: License price remains at achieved tier until points accumulate to next price level. |
6. | Shipping Information and Timeframe: Media will ship in 24 to 48 hours, subject to availability. The media will ship via UPS ground, direct to the end user at the institutional address only. |
7. | License Fulfillment: CLP customers can obtain serial numbers and download software by accessing the Adobe Licensing Website. |
8. | Electronic Software Delivery: Most products are available for download through the Adobe Licensing Website. |
9. | Volume License Media and Documentation/Manuals: Not included and if needed, must be purchased in addition to the licensing. Boxed product, or finished goods, will not function to install licensing serial numbers. |
10. | Additional media: Available with initial order or with subsequent orders. |
11. | Additional documentation/manuals: Available with initial order or with subsequent orders. |
12. | Documentation available on the CD: Yes. |

16. | Home or Portable Computer Secondary Use Rights: Yes, as long as both the home and institutional computers are not in use at the same time. |
17. | Backwards Compatibility: All Adobe licensing is backwards compatible. |
18. | Return Policy: Returns must be requested within 45 days of the ComputerLand of Silicon Valley invoice date for current products, and must be returned within 60 days. No returns are allowed for discontinued products. Media and documentation must be physically returned using an RMA number. Return of licenses and Upgrade Plans require a completed and signed Letter of Destruction. |
